I have to tell you that I was previously married. I am separated from my wife, and I have been in the process of divorcing her for over a year now. We are NOT together, and we are just waiting on the paperwork to be finalized. There is no drama or anything crazy going on. I’m just trying to move on with my life, and find the person I am meant to be with. Greetings, everyone! I’m from the United States. I lived in Korea previously for two years when I was in the military. But I missed living here so much, that I decided to move back! I have been studying Korean for one year now. My listening skills are terrible, unfortunately, and I still need a lot of practice. But learning Korean is very important to me, as intend to make Korea my home again. I have a passive income, but plan on returning to work after my studies. I’ve been all over the world at this point, but I’m still looking for the “one.” My human being. My soulmate. If you believe in such a thing, of course. I definitely do, and it keeps me moving forward. I’ve been in bad relationships in the past where I have been cheated on, but I’m still holding out hope to find someone genuine that is deserving of my love. And I have a lot of it to give :) So, about me? Well, I was in the Navy for six (and one-half!) years. I traveled to about 13 different countries. Some of which were very nice. Others, not so much. After I got out of the military, I started doing contracting work for the military. I guess I just couldn’t escape it, haha. I’m kind of a contradiction, because I’m obsessed with lifting weights, but I’m probably a nerd more than anything else. But I really value spending time with my partner. I don’t expect you to workout with me or anything, but it would be nice to watch movies and shows together, for example. I also love going out to eat and having casual drinks. So, why Korea? Korea feels like civilization to me. I step outside, and everyone is so polite and well-dressed. Whereas back home in the US, I step outside and I am surrounded by homeless people and drug addicts. I want to live somewhere where I actually ENJOY walking outside, instead of dreading it. I lived here previously when I was in the Navy and fell in love with the country and its people. Being apart from it made me realize just how much I missed it. Countries I’ve been to: Estonia Germany The Netherlands Norway Iceland Spain Canada Cypress Greece Malta Bahrain UAE (Dubai) Israel Korea These are the bad things and red flags about me that I think you may not like: 1) The biggest thing I have to mention is that I am divorced, and I was previously married. Maybe this makes me less “special.” I’m sorry, and I hope this isn’t a dealbreaker for you. 2) I was in a relationship before with a very evil, disgusting person that said they loved me, that they were my soulmate, that I was the best thing that ever happened to them, that they would never cheat on me, blah, blah, blah. And they cheated on me, anyway. I woke up one day, and found myself blocked on every platform. No explanation. It hurt me very deeply. So I need someone that is completely and 100% loyal and faithful. Because I am not a cheater, and would never cheat. I want to be able to trust another human being again. So, please, before you message me, ask yourself if you are a good human being. Please don’t waste my time, otherwise. Finally, I don’t really want children, and I even have a vasectomy so I can’t get you pregnant 😅 Please feel free to ask me anything you want. I am an open book. Also—just for fun—let me know if you think I look better with longer or shorter hair. The same with my beard. I can’t decide whether to keep everything long or not 😅
