안녕하세요! I've learned that being with the right person is essential to leading a happy and healthy life. I'm looking for someone who is amazing on both the inside and outside (not to sound cliche). When I do find the right girl, I find it gives me astonishing amounts of energy, brings the best out of me and it even brings the romantic out of me. I am unwilling to settle or lower my standards (not your typical, lame guy standards either) because I want to be with someone I can give my all and who makes me feel everything I know I am capable of feeling. If it means I have to wait to find that "special someone" then so be it because I know how amazing it can be and if I make some friends along the way that is wonderful :) Family is extremely important to me and I am privileged to be able to call them my family. I have a strong thirst for knowledge. I do my best not to judge people and have friends from all different walks of life. I was born in Burlington and although I moved around a lot in my childhood, somehow I managed to find myself back in Burlington. I love to travel and am willing to visit virtually anywhere, but haven't managed to do as much traveling as I would have liked (because I want to enjoy it with that special someone). I enjoy spending my leisure time doing many things and there doesn't seem to be enough time in a day to do them all but my favorite thing to do is trying something new (and there are lots of experiences I haven't had yet!). My friends would probably describe me as noble, relaxed, caring, genuine and intelligent. I'm motivated to succeed at anything put in front of me and I'm always looking for a new adventure. I’m versatile, laid back and am willing to try anything at least once. The three things I am most thankful for are, being able to live in Canada, having a roof over my head and having an education and the ability to continue that education. If you have read this, there must be something you liked, so what are you waiting for... toss me a message, who knows what wonderful things could come of it!

Whenever someone asks me what I look for in a girl, or what I consider my ideal girl to be, I can’t help but reference the characters from one of the most beloved series in contemporary American literature: the Archie comics. In the off chance that you grew up in a small village, isolated in the jungles of Guatemala, or were raised by bible-thumpers who thought that the Double Digest was nothing more than a brochure for an eternal life of damnation, you probably read enough Archie’s to recognize that almost every plot would center around one central dilemma: who should Archie choose, Betty or Veronica? Betty was the cute "girl next door" whose sweetness and innocence were often overshadowed by the sexy and manipulative Veronica, who almost had enough money to buy a personality. These two girls were more or less one-dimensional representations of girls I have encountered in my own life. I mean, sure, the occasional Archie comic would give a rare insight into the other side of each girl’s personality. Like the time Betty surprised all of Riverdale High, including Archie himself, by reinventing herself as the mini skirt-wearing, cleavage-popping “bad girl.” Or who could forget that one magical Christmas when Veronica suddenly grew a conscience and helped a homeless family celebrate the holidays in a decadent fashion? So I guess the eternal question remains: who would I choose, Betty or Veronica? The answer? Neither of them. I would choose Midge. She always managed to be sexy without overstepping the fine line of good taste, and was hipster cool without the calculation or pretension. She saw the good in everyone. I mean, she had to; she was dating that walking jock strap, Moose, who was illiterate. And she valued intelligence, because she always flirted with that Dilton, the unspoken prototype of Bill Gates. But there wherein lies the problem to this whole Betty versus Veronica debate. When asked who I would choose between two types of girls, I opt for a third girl who is in a committed relationship with a douchebag. And maybe that’s why I find that I am invariably single. Not because I’ve dedicated my life to some righteous, lifelong quest to find the ideal girl, and when I do find said girl she is almost always taken. But because I spend 75% of my free time pondering this truth by referencing fictional characters from a comic book.
